Disassembly [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [07/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2022 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Screw <E> or <G>

      Remove the 3 screws <E> or <G>.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the No. 3 heater to register duct.
  3. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [07/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2022 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [05/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [05/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Screw <E> or <G>

      Remove the 2 screws <E> or <G> and No. 1 heater to register duct.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws <G>.

      Screw <G>
      Connector
    2. Detach the guide and remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.
    3. Disconnect the connector.
  8. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly.

      Remove in this Direction
  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

      Screw
      Connector

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front No. 2 speaker assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the cone part of the front No. 2 speaker assembly.

  10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY MAIN 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the instrument panel sub-assembly main.
  11. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

      Screw <E> or <G>

      Remove the 3 screws <E> or <G>.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.
  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN 
    1. Remove the screw.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Detach the guide in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 instrument panel pin.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 instrument panel pin on the other side.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  14. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 21 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the upper instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.
  15. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
    2. Detach the claw and guide in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.
  16. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK COVER 
    NOTE:

    Only perform this procedure when removing and installing the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly. Furthermore, always replace the glove compartment door assembly with a new one when performing this procedure.

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, cut the claw and remove the glove compartment door lock cover.

  17. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Always replace the glove compartment door assembly with a new one when performing this procedure.

      *1 Cylinder Lock
      Remove in this Direction

      Press the cylinder lock to release it and pull out the glove compartment door lock cylinder assembly from the glove compartment door assembly to remove it as shown in the illustration.
