Radiator Support Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Escalade) or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Tahoe) or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Avalanche) or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Z71) or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Yukon) .
  2. Remove the grille support. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement .
  3. Remove the front fascia bracket. Refer to Front Upper Fascia Support Bracket Replacement .
  4. Remove the hood latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
  5. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement (Non-HP2) or Radiator Replacement (HP2) .
  6. Remove the A/C condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (Gas) .
  7. Remove the fender bolts. Refer to Front Fender Replacement - Left Side  and Front Fender Replacement - Right Side .
1 Radiator Support Mount Nuts (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  70 N.m (52 lb ft)

2 Radiator Support Mount Bolts (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  70 N.m (52 lb ft)
