Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the front side door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan) Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe) . Position the front side door window regulator rear rail to access the rear portion of the weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Sedan) Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Coupe) . Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR2, DR5)Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR4) . Remove the radio front side door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement (Sedan)Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement (Coupe) .
1	Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Procedure Apply masking tape to the applique, reveal belt molding and door frame. Start in the top upper rear corner of the door frame, pull the weatherstrip out of the door frame and front window channel. Install the window weatherstrip to the top upper rear corner of the door frame, work the weatherstrip around the upper door frame and then down both front and rear channel. Ensure that the weatherstrip is fully seated into the upper door frame and down both front channels before installing the window. NOTE: Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim.

Position the front side door window regulator rear rail to access the rear portion of the weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Sedan) Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Coupe) .
Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR2, DR5)Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR4) .
Remove the radio front side door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement (Sedan)Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement (Coupe) .

Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip

Procedure

Apply masking tape to the applique, reveal belt molding and door frame.
Start in the top upper rear corner of the door frame, pull the weatherstrip out of the door frame and front window channel.
Install the window weatherstrip to the top upper rear corner of the door frame, work the weatherstrip around the upper door frame and then down both front and rear channel.
Ensure that the weatherstrip is fully seated into the upper door frame and down both front channels before installing the window.

NOTE:

Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim.
