Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel tie bar assembly into the vehicle.
  2. Install the instrument panel wiring harness to the position noted in the removal procedure.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Body Control Module Bracket - Install - Body Control Module Bracket Replacement

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
