Sunroof Housing Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the sunroof air deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement . Remove the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement . Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement . Disconnect the electrical connectors. Disconnect the drain hoses from the sunroof frame. Do not remove the drain hoses from the vehicle, disconnect the drain hoses at all the corners of the sunroof frame spigot only. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement and Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement . Remove the sunroof module. Refer to Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement . Remove the sunroof housing drain gutter. Refer to Sunroof Housing Drain Gutter Replacement . Remove the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement . Remove the sunroof panel/window guide. Refer to Sunroof Panel/Window Guide Replacement . Remove the sunroof window motor. Refer to Sunroof Window Motor Replacement .
1	Sunroof Housing Assembly Procedure Transfer all necessary components. Adjust the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment . Verify the proper operation of the sunroof before securing the headliner. Ensure the motor/actuator initialization/teach process has been done. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process . Water test vehicle before installing the trim to ensure No leaks. You must install the old components to the new sunroof housing assembly. NOTE: A new sunroof housing assembly does not include the sunroof window, motor, sunshade, guides, air deflector, housing drain gutter and the finishing lace components.

Remove the sunroof air deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement .
Remove the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Disconnect the drain hoses from the sunroof frame. Do not remove the drain hoses from the vehicle, disconnect the drain hoses at all the corners of the sunroof frame spigot only. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement and Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement .
Remove the sunroof module. Refer to Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement .
Remove the sunroof housing drain gutter. Refer to Sunroof Housing Drain Gutter Replacement .
Remove the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
Remove the sunroof panel/window guide. Refer to Sunroof Panel/Window Guide Replacement .
Remove the sunroof window motor. Refer to Sunroof Window Motor Replacement .

Sunroof Housing Assembly

Procedure

Transfer all necessary components.
Adjust the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
Verify the proper operation of the sunroof before securing the headliner.
Ensure the motor/actuator initialization/teach process has been done. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process .
Water test vehicle before installing the trim to ensure No leaks.
You must install the old components to the new sunroof housing assembly.
NOTE: A new sunroof housing assembly does not include the sunroof window, motor, sunshade, guides, air deflector, housing drain gutter and the finishing lace components.
