Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Coupe)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the tail lamps and side marker lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet Coupe) or Tail Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet, Pontiac Sedan) or Tail Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet European) .
  2. Remove the license lamp. Refer to Rear License Plate Lamp Replacement (Pontiac G5) or Rear License Plate Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet) .
  3. Remove the rear wheel liners. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
1 Rear Bumper Fascia - Upper Retainer (Qty: 4)
2 Rear Bumper Fascia Tail Lamp Pocket Screw (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  2 N.m (18 lb in)

3 Rear Bumper Fascia (Inside wheel well) Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

4 Rear Bumper Fascia Retainer (Qty: 4)
5 Rear Bumper Fascia
Tip:  Pull the sides of the rear fascia at the quarter panel to release the fascia from the brackets.
