Rear Seat Recliner Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear recliner outer finish cover. Refer to Rear Seat Recliner Outer Finish Cover Replacement (60 Percent Seat) , Rear Seat Recliner Outer Finish Cover Replacement (40 Percent Seat) .
  2. Remove the rear seat track rear outboard cover. Refer to Rear Seat Track Rear Outboard Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear seat armrest hinge finish cover. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Hinge Finish Cover Replacement 
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (40 Percent Seat) , Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (60 Percent Seat) 
  5. Remove the rear seat recliner inner finish cover. Refer to Rear Seat Recliner Inner Finish Cover Replacement 
1 Rear Seat Riser Fastener (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
35 N.m (26 lb ft)
2 Rear Seat Back Cushion Pad

Procedure

  1. Remove the two fasteners attached to the riser to the seat cushion frame. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (60 Percent Seat) 
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
