Install the wiring harness section of the transmission wiring harness

• Insert and install the wiring harness (1) for the transmission module.

• Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) of the transmission wiring harness.
• Secure the clamps (arrows).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  The connector (1) must engage audibly.

• Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) of the supply module.
• Secure clamps (arrow).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  Fastening the transmission 

• Move the transmission (3) to the installation position.
• Replace screws (2).

• Tighten down screws (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Transmission cross member to body
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Secure the cable with the clamp (1).
• Loosening the luggage strap (1).
• Remove special tools 2 219 012 and 0 495 498 (23 4 050) .

• Secure clamps (2).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  The connector (1) must engage audibly.

• Feed in and install the wiring harness section (1) of the transmission wiring harness.
• Secure the clamps (arrows).

• Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) of the transmission wiring harness.
• Secure clamps (arrow).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Feed in and install the wiring harness section (3) of the transmission wiring harness.
• Make sure the locking mechanism (2) engages audibly.
• Tighten down screws (1).

  Cable bracket on rear cylinder head/transmission
  M6x20	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Secure the clamps (arrows).
• Insert cable clip (2) in direction of arrow and install.

  The lock (1) must audibly engage.

  The cable clip (3) must engage audibly.
