Installing the feed line for the transmission oil cooler
Feed line for the transmission oil cooler
- Feed the feed line (1) in for the transmission oil cooler carefully
with the help of a support person and remove it.
- Replace the sealing ring (1) of the feed line (2) for the transmission oil cooler.
Parts: Sealing ring
- Feed in the holder (1) in the feed line (2) for the transmission oil cooler.
- Connect the feed line (1) for the transmission oil cooler with the holder (2) to the thermostat (3).
- Feed the holder (1) in arrow direction in the return line (2) for the transmission oil cooler.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Transmission oil lines to thermostat/automatic transmission M6x25 tightening torque 8 Nm - Attach the feed line (1) for the transmission oil cooler in the holder (2).
- Insert and install the holder (2).
- Tighten down screw (3).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Holder for transmission oil line Screw Tightening torque 4 Nm - Close the rubber retainer (1).NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes.
Some parts may differ in certain details. - Guide in and install retaining plate (2).
- Tighten nuts (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Retaining plates for underbody cover Sheet metal nut/plastic nut
Replace nuts.Tightening torque 3 Nm - Attach the feed line (1) for the transmission oil cooler in the holder (2).
- Insert and install the holder (2).
- Tighten down screw (3).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Holder for transmission oil line Screw Tightening torque 4 Nm - Fasten the coolant line (2) in the holder (1).
- Lock holder (1).
The holder (1) must engage audibly.
- Press the radiator bracket (1) on the right carefully
to the side and feed in the feed line (2) for the transmission oil cooler.
- Feed the stone chip guard (1) in arrow direction into the holder (2).
- Lock the stone chip guard (1) in the marked area (2).
