Securing the steering shaft at the bottom on the steering gear

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The universal joint can be mounted only in one position.
The universal joint and the steering gear or the steering shaft are encoded to each other.
The clamping bolt must be positioned in the groove of the steering gear or the steering shaft.

- Clean the screw threads to remove all remnants of screw lock agent.
- Slide the lower steering shaft (2) onto the steering gear in the arrow direction.
- Replace the clamping bolt (1).

Recut screw thread.
Replace clamping bolt No retorque permitted!Tightening torque 28 Nm
