Install charge air cooler

Feed the charge air cooler (2) in and install it.
Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Charge air cooler on coolant radiator
M6x12	tightening torque	6 Nm

Check sealing ring (1) for damage, replace if necessary.

Replacing the damaged seal

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use of sharp or pointy tools for installation or removal is prohibited.

Remove damaged seal.
Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth.
The gasket groove (1) must be clean.

Replace gasket.
Parts: Gasket
Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent.

Thread in seal and install.
Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1).
Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown.
Guide in and install the pressure pipe (1) at front right.
Make sure the pressure pipe (1) engages audibly.

Detach locks (1) from the holders in the arrow direction.
Ensure that locks (1) engage audibly.

Detach locks (1) from the holders in the arrow direction.
Ensure that locks (1) engage audibly.

Insert and install the cross-connection (3).
Insert and install the locking mechanisms (2).
Lock the locking pins (1).
Ensure that the locking pins (1) snap-in audibly.

Replace screws (2).

Tighten the screws (2) at the front left.

Cross connection to front axle support
M6	tightening torque	12 Nm

Replace the blind rivet (1).
