Removing the flexible disc for the rear prop shaft

Preliminary work

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The rear part of the propeller shaft cannot hang freely, otherwise the bellows of the propeller shaft center bearing will be damaged.
It is mandatory to support the prop shaft with a lever around the central mount to protect joints.

- Check centering (arrow).
- Replace damaged central mount.
- During installation, the arrows (2) on the circumference of the flexible disk must point to the flange arms (3) .
- Install flexible disc (1) .
- Replace ZNS screws and self-locking nuts.

- Position the screws with nuts and tighten.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Flexible dics, rear, to prop shaft M12x1.5
Replace screws and nuts.Joining torque 55 Nm Angle of rotation 90° - Install prop shaft and push towards the front.
- Replace the bolts (arrows).

- Insert screws and tighten.

- Install central mount.
- Lugs (1) must point downwards at installation.
- Tighten screws (arrows).

- Remove screws (arrows).
- Push the prop shaft towards the front and remove from the rear axle differential.
- Release the screws (arrows) and remove the flexible disc (1) from the prop shaft.
