Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

- Check all the rubber mounts (1) of the exhaust system for damage.
- Replaced damaged rubber mounts.

- Open the weld seam (1) with a conventional tool.
- Remove ribbon clamp (2) .
- Replace the (2)
ribbon clamp.

Version A: Install exhaust system
- Insert and install the exhaust system (4) with the help of a support person.
- Replace nuts (2)

- Tighten nuts (2) .

- Have someone help you insert and install the exhaust system (3) .
- Replace the nuts (1)

- Check the rubber mount (2) for damage, replace if necessary.
- Attach the rubber mount (2) onto the exhaust system (3) .
Variant with exhaust flap: Installing the exhaust system
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Tighten the ribbon clamp (1) .

Installing V-ribbon clip
V-band clamp
- Release nut (1)
and remove sealing ring (2)

- V-band (2)
clamp.
Parts: V-band clamp
- Install sealing ring (1) on the exhaust system.
- Position sealing ring (1) for V-ribbon clip (2) correctly.
- Bend all sheet metal tabs around their entire perimeter (apart from those in the marked areas) with a suitable tool.
- Mount the V-clip (1) on the sealing ring (2) .
- Make sure that the V-ribbon clip is (1)
correctly positioned on the sealing ring (2)
.
- Make sure that, after mounting, the V-ribbon clip is on the sheet metal tabs (marks).
- Connect the exhaust system (1)
with the catalytic converter (2)
in arrow direction and position it correctly.
- Make sure the V-ribbon clip (1) is fitted correctly.
- Tighten down screw (2) .

Follow-up work
