Bevel Box, Installing

Procedure 

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Place the bevel box with the right flange shaft on the transmission while turning the flange shaft at the same time.

-- Tighten the bevel box on the transmission.

-- Install the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNTC, CYFB] or FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [DAZA, DNWA] .

-- Gear Oil, Checking Level. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .

Tightening Specifications 

• Refer to OVERVIEW - BEVEL BOX 
• Refer to BEVEL BOX, TIGHTENING SPECIFICATION 
• Refer to OVERVIEW - DIFFERENTIAL
• Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT [CNTC, CYFB] or OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT [DAZA, DNWA] .
• Refer to OVERVIEW - DRIVE AXLE .
• Refer to DRIVE AXLE HEAT SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
• Refer to OVERVIEW - LOWER CONTROL ARM AND BALL JOINT .
• Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
• Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
