Transmission
Right Seal
- Replacing. Refer to RIGHT SEAL, REPLACING
Seal
- Replacing. Refer to SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING
- For the selector shaft
Right Seal
- Replacing. Refer to RIGHT SEAL, REPLACING
- For vehicles with All Wheel Drive (AWD)
Seal
- Always replace after removing
- Insert in the surrounding right flange shaft groove
- Remove to replace needle bearing (polygon bearing) -item 7-. Refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT NEEDLE BEARING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Right Flange Shaft
- For vehicles with AWD
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ALL WHEEL DRIVE .
Needle Bearing (Polygon Bearing)
- Replacing. Refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT NEEDLE BEARING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- If the flange shaft is difficult to move when it is removed, this is not a fault
- Acoustical test only when installed
- Check for damage, for example for cracks on the out race
Bevel Box
Seal
- Replacing. Refer to OUTPUT FLANGE SEAL, REPLACING
- For output flange
- For vehicles with AWD
Seal
- Replacing. Refer to SEAL ON BEVEL BOX BETWEEN TRANSMISSION AND BEVEL BOX, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Between the transmission and the bevel box, on the bevel box
- For vehicles with AWD
Left Seal
- For the left flange shaft
- Replacing. Refer to LEFT SEAL, REPLACING
