NOTE:
The Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452- automatically deactivates the front passenger airbag when the front passenger seat is not occupied.
This equipment version is only installed on vehicles released in the USA and Canada.
There are different versions of the front seat ("Basic", "Sport") and different versions of the sensor:

- Wiring Harness
- Wiring harness with Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452- connector
- Pay attention to the exact wire routing. Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING AND Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-, SPORT, INSTALLING - Guide the connector -3- for the pressure sensor -2- through the opening in the seat cushion -arrow B-. .
- Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-
- Replace the heating element if the vehicle has seat heating.
- Must not be separated from the front seat cushion cover
- The components are separated from each other; replace both components
- It is not necessary to replace the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-.
- Removing and Installing . Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING AND Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-, BASIC, INSTALLING .
- Adhesive Surfaces
- Adhesion surface for gluing to the front seat cushion cover
- Remove the protective film just before applying the glue.
- Positioning Aids
- Positioning aids on Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-
- Before applying the glue, make sure the positioning aids line up with the positioning aids on the front seat cushion. Refer to -Item - COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, SPORT - List Item:Positioning Aids.

- Positioning aids on the front seat cushion padding
- The positioning aids must line up with the positioning aids on the Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452- -Item - COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, SPORT - List Item:Positioning Aids before bonding.
- Front Seat Cushion
- Must not be separated from the Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-
- The components are separated from each other; replace both components
- It is not necessary to replace the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-.
- Bracket
- Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- bracket
- Clipped to the seat frame
- Removing and Installing . Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE BRACKET .
- Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-
- Diagnostic-capable
- If the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- must be replaced, it is not necessary to replace the Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452-.
- Removing and Installing . Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE .
