Reassembly [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER

      *a Arrow mark - -
      1. Install the back door lower stopper with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

        HINT: 

        With the door closed, install the back door lower stopper so that the arrow marker is facing the top side of the vehicle.

    2. Use the same procedure for the other side.
  2. INSTALL DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL 
  3. INSTALL HOLE PLUG 
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR WIRE 
  5. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY WITH BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH 
  6. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 CAMERA CLEANER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY 
  8. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [02/2024 - ]

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE LOWER GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  10. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE UPPER GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
  11. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 1 SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Cover) 
  12. INSTALL BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION 
  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 2 WEATHERSTRIP

      *a Matchmark *b Flange Position
      *c Joint - -
      1. Remove any non-drying sealer on the body with non-residue solvent.
      2. Align the matchmarks on a new back door No. 2 weatherstrip with the flange positions on the back door panel, and install the back door No. 2 weatherstrip.
        NOTE:

        Always align the matchmark when installing the part. If the matchmark position is out of place, water leaks may occur.

        HINT: 

        To easily install the weatherstrip, first install the area with the matchmark as shown in the illustration. Then install the part toward the corners and push any excess length into the corners.

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17
  15. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY BOLT 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  16. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  17. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  18. INSTALL REAR SPOILER ASSEMBLY

  19. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER DAMPER STAY BRACKET LH 
    • w/ Power Back Door:

      See step  2

    • w/o Power Back Door:

      See step  2
  20. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER DAMPER STAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  21. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER DAMPER STAY BRACKET LH 
    See step  1
  22. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER DAMPER STAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  23. INSTALL BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Power Back Door)

  29. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Power Back Door)

  38. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH (w/ Digital Inner Mirror) 
  39. INSTALL REAR INNER MIRROR CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Inner Mirror) 
  40. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (w/ Power Back Door)

  56. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM (w/ Power Back Door)

  57. PERFORM CALIBRATION

  58. INSPECT REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY
