INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY BOLT

When replacing the back window stay bolt with a new one:
1. Clean the threaded portion on the vehicle body with non-residue solvent.
2. Install the back window stay bolt.
Torque: 22 N*m (224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf)
When reusing the back window stay bolt:
1. Clean the threaded portion on the vehicle body with non-residue solvent.
2. Apply adhesive to the threads of the back window stay bolt.
  Adhesive
  
  Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent
3. Install the back window stay bolt.
Torque: 22 N*m (224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH

Install in this Direction

Engage the 2 ball joints to install the back window stay assembly LH.
NOTE:
Install the back window stay assembly LH while supporting the back door with one hand.
Check that the back door stay assembly LH is attached to the ball joint and cannot be pulled off.
