- INSTALL SCREW GROMMET
- INSTALL NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE NOTE:
When installing the No. 1 moulding tape, heat the No. 1 moulding tape using a heat light.

Part Temperature Bac Door Lower Outside Garnish Sub-assembly LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) No. 1 Moulding Tape 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
- Touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
*a Heated Part *b Heat Light NOTE:Do not heat the No. 1 moulding tape excessively.
Double-sided Tape - - - Clean the surface of the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH.
1. Using a heat light, heat the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH surface.
2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH.
3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
NOTE:- Installing the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.
- Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.
- Clean the surface of the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH.
*a Mark-off Line - - - Using a brush, apply primer to the installation area of the No. 1 moulding tape.NOTE:
Do not apply too much glass primer.
- Remove the peeling paper of the double-sided tape from the attachment surface of the No. 1 moulding tape that will be applied to the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH while making sure not to touch the adhesional surface.
- Install the No. 1 moulding tape to the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH along the mark-off line shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- After the glass primer dries (in approximately 3 minutes), install the No. 1 moulding tape.
- Install the No. 1 moulding tape so that it does not overlap with the mark-off line.
- Using a brush, apply primer to the installation area of the No. 1 moulding tape.
- INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE LOWER GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Double-sided Tape - - - Clean the surface of the back door panel.
1. Using a heat light, heat the back door panel surface.
2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the back door panel.
3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
NOTE:- Installing the back door panel with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.
- Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.
- Clean a new back door panel surface.
- Clean the surface of the back door panel.
Double-sided Tape - - - Remove the peeling paper of the double-sided tape from the attachment surface of the No. 1 moulding tape that will be applied to the vehicle body while making sure not to touch the adhesional surface.
- Attach the claw and install the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH to the vehicle body.
- Press the double-sided tape by lightly pressing against the back door outside lower garnish sub-assembly LH with hands.
- Connect the connector.

- INSTALL NO. 4 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Cover)
- INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER
- INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER
- INSTALL BACK DOOR FINISH COVER
- INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Power Back Door)
- INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH
- INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH
- INSTALL BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH
