- REMOVE MOTOR CABLE BRACKET WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
- DISCONNECT MOTOR CABLE WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
- REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
- REMOVE MOTOR CABLE TERMINAL CAP WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the motor cable.
- When removing the motor cable, make sure not to bent the motor cable base on the FCV transaxle with motor assembly side.
- REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the motor cable.
- When removing the motor cable, make sure not to bent the motor cable base on the FCV transaxle with motor assembly side.
- DRAIN HYBRID TRANSAXLE FLUID

- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 1 BOND CABLE
- REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
*a Attachment *b Engine Lifter Attachment placement location - - - Support the rear suspension member sub-assembly with an engine lifter using 4 attachments or equivalent tools as shown in the illustration.WARNING:NOTE:
Use attachments to keep the rear suspension member sub-assembly level.
- Remove the 4 bolts, rear lower suspension member stopper LH and rear lower suspension member stopper RH.
- Slowly lower the rear suspension member sub-assembly.NOTE:
When lowering the rear suspension member sub-assembly, be careful not to damage the vehicle body or other components installed to the vehicle.
- Support the rear suspension member sub-assembly with an engine lifter using 4 attachments or equivalent tools as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER STOPPER
- REMOVE REAR UPPER SUSPENSION MEMBER STOPPER
- REMOVE MOTOR CABLE BRACKET
- REMOVE NO. 2 MOTOR CABLE BRACKET
- REMOVE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

- REMOVE TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
*a Matchmark - - - Place matchmarks on the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly, rear No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate and rear suspension member sub-assembly.
- Remove the nut, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly, rear No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate and toe control link sub-assembly LH from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
- REMOVE LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR MOTOR MOUNTING INSULATOR
*a SST (09570-24011) *b SST (09570-60010) SST bolt location Front of the Vehicle - Using SST, remove the rear motor mounting insulator.

NOTE:- Before using SST, apply grease to the SST bolts.
- Be sure to use the correct combination of SST.
- Do not tilt the bolts of SST.
- Tighten the 2 bolts of SST so that they enter the 2 holes of the rear motor mounting insulator by an equal amount.
HINT:
Install the 2 SST bolts to the 2 SST holes as shown in the illustration.
- Using SST, remove the rear motor mounting insulator.
- REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER FRONT BODY MOUNTING CUSHION LH
- Using a chisel and hammer, bend the rear suspension member front body mounting cushion rib.
*a Turn *b Hold - Using SST, remove the rear suspension member front body mounting cushion LH while applying grease into the clearance between the rear suspension member front body mounting cushion LH and the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
