Removal [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

      *A w/ Seat Heater System - -
      *1 Rear Seat Cushion Lock Hook - -
      *a Front Hook *b Rear Hook
      *c Seatback Frame - -
      Place Hands Here Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2) Carry out in this Direction
      1. Place your hand in the position beside the front hook as shown in the illustration and lift the front end of bench type rear seat cushion assembly in the removal direction (1) to detach the front hook from the rear seat cushion lock hook.
        NOTE:
        • Be sure to detach the front hook one at a time.
        • Be sure to hold the parts of the bench type rear seat cushion assembly directly next to the front hook when lifting it. Lifting a different part may deform the cushion frame.
        • If the front hook is detached, replace the rear seat cushion lock hook with a new one.
      2. Pull in the removal direction (2) to detach the rear hook.
      3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      4. Remove and carry the bench type rear seat cushion assembly out of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the bench type rear seat cushion assembly, body exterior or interior parts.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

  3. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      *1 Rear Seatback Holder - -
      *a Rear Hook - -
      Lift up in this Direction Carry out in this Direction
      Bolt A Connector
      Bolt B Bolt C
      1. Remove the 2 bolts A and floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly RH and rear seat outer belt assembly LH.
      2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
      3. Loosen the bolt B and remove the floor anchor of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH.
      4. Remove the 4 bolts C.
      5. Lift the bench type rear seatback assembly up as shown in the illustration to detach the rear hook from the rear seatback holder.
        NOTE:

        If the rear hook is detached, replace the rear seatback holder with a new one.

      6. Remove and carry the bench type rear seatback assembly out of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:
        • Carrying the bench type rear seatback assembly from the vehicle must be performed by multiple people.
        • Do not damage the bench type rear seatback assembly, body exterior or interior parts.
  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HOLDER

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK SET BRACKET

    HINT: 
    Perform this procedure when replacing the rear No. 1 seatback set bracket.
