Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  4

  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
  9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
  10. REMOVE FAN SHROUD 

    See step  9

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUBASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)

    1. Disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass hose.
    2. Remove the 3 bolts.
    3. Disconnect the water by-pass pipe with water hose.
  13. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 and No. 3 air hoses.

    2. Disconnect the air pump connector.
    3. Disconnect the air pump connector clamp holder.
    4. Using a clip remover, detach the wire harness clamp.
    5. Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.

    6. Remove the air tube bracket bolt.
    7. Disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and remove the 3 bolts and water inlet housing.

    8. Remove the gasket from the water pump.
  14. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY 
    1. Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

      • SST: 09960-10010 
        1. 09962-01000
        2. 09963-01000
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
  15. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 bolts, water pump and gasket.
