Disassembly [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2017 - 08/2019] ).
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2018 - 08/2019] ).
- REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR ROD (w/ Power Back Door)
- REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH
- REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH
- REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH
- REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY LOWER BRACKET (w/ Power Back Door)
- REMOVE BACK DOOR STRAP COVER
- REMOVE BACK DOOR PULL STRAP
- REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR WARNING BUZZER

- REMOVE BACK DOOR NO. 2 SERVICE HOLE COVER

- REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS RUN
- REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS
- Remove the hole plig.
- Provisionally install the multiplex network body ECU.
- Move the back door glass until the 4 bolts can be seen through the service holes.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- Remove the 4 bolts and remove the back door glass.NOTE:
Do not drop or damage the back door glass.
- Remove the multiplex network body ECU.
- Remove the hole plig.
- REMOVE BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER
- REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH
