Disassembly [10/2014 - 06/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect each rubber band of the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.
  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP 
    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  7. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front seat cushion shield.
    3. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

    4. Disengage the clamp.
    5. w/ Lumbar Support:
      1. Disengage the 4 claws to separate the front lumbar power seat switch from the front seat cushion shield.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:
      1. Remove the screw.

      2. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front seat cushion shield.
    2. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:
      1. Remove the screw.

      2. Disengage the claw and 3 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield.
      3. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the front power seat switch.

    4. Disengage the clamp.
    5. Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

  11. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (w/ Variable Seat Cushion System)

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT WIRE (w/ Variable Seat Cushion System)

  13. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  14. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  15. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Variable Seat Cushion System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the clamp.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Variable Seat Cushion System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Remove the 12 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 hooks to remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Disengage the claw and 2 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 front seat cushion shield sub-assembly.

      1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.
  33. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE 
    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front No. 2 seat wire.
  34. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Disengage the clamp to remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seatback frame sub-assembly from the front seat frame with adjuster assembly.

    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.
  40. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (w/ Lumbar Support) 
    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
  41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Vertical Adjuster) 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seat cushion panel sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster sub-assembly.
