Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 

    (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - 10/2015] or PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ] )

    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 10/2015] or INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 and PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Pull the navigation receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly toward the rear of the vehicle and disengage the 4 clips.
    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the navigation receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly.
  6. REMOVE CENTER UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  9. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE (w/ Satellite Radio) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  11. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY (w/ Satellite Radio) 
  12. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY
