Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 10/2015] or INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 or PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the tilt and telescopic lever to fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
    2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws, 4 clips and 2 guides.

    3. Disengage the 18 clips and 2 guides.

    4. Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.
  5. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Radio and Display Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Navigation Receiver Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  8. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    4. Disengage the clamp to remove the combination meter assembly.
