Removal [08/2019 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

      *a Protective Tape
    2. Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Remove the 4 screws and 2 bolts.

    4. Remove the 3 bolts.

    5. Remove the 6 clips.

    6. Disengage the 7 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove in this Direction
    7. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
    8. Remove the front bumper cover.
  3. REMOVE UPPER CENTER FRONT BUMPER RETAINER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT (for 4WD) 
    1. Remove the 4 clips and cool air intake duct.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER 
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and front lower bumper cover.
  6. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT LH 
    1. Remove the clip and bolt.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and air intake duct LH.
  7. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - 08/2021]

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the screw, 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2020 - 08/2021]

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2020 - 08/2021]

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2020 - 08/2021]

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
