Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).

  2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

    (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] )

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
  5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

  6. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

  7. REMOVE FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  8. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  9. REMOVE VACUUM SENSOR (MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. SEPARATE INTAKE MANIFOLD 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the intake manifold.

    2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    3. Disconnect the 6 wire harness clamps.

    4. Remove the 6 bolts and separate the intake manifold from the engine assembly.

  11. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  12. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  13. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD 
    1. Remove the intake manifold from the vehicle.
    2. Remove the intake manifold gasket from the intake manifold.

    3. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

    4. Remove the vacuum hose from the intake manifold.

    5. Slide the clip and remove the fuel vapor feed hose from the intake manifold.
