Roof Headlining: Installation

INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (w/o Sliding Roof)
1. Install the No. 1 roof wire.

2. Apply adhesive tape to the locations shown in the illustration.
  HINT:
  
  As shown in the illustration, line up and secure the reference tape of the wire harness to the tip of the roof headlining assembly.
INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (w/ Sliding Roof)
1. Engage the 3 clamps, and install the No. 1 roof wire.

2. Apply adhesive tape to the locations shown in the illustration.
  HINT:
  
  As shown in the illustration, line up and secure the reference tape of the wire harness to the tip of the roof headlining assembly.
INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof) (See INSTALLATION )

INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)
1. Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 3 No. 2 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot-melt glue or double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)
1. Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 3 No. 1 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot-melt glue or double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/ Sliding Roof)
1. Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 2 No. 1 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pad using hot-melt glue or double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)
1. Pull the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door.
  NOTE: Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.
2. Install the 2 clips.
3. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connectors to the rear pillar RH.

4. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector to the rear pillar RH with the bolt.
5. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector and engage each clamp to the front pillar RH.
6. Connect the No. 1 roof wire connectors to the instrument panel junction block.
7. Engage each clamp to the front pillar LH.

  NOTE: After installation, make sure that the back door weatherstrip does not interfere with the roof headlining assembly.
8. w/ EC Mirror:
  1. Connect the inner mirror connector.
INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)
1. Pull the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door.
  NOTE: Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.
2. Install the 2 clips.
3. Connect the sliding roof drive gear connector.
4. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connectors to the rear pillar RH.

5. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector to the rear pillar RH with the bolt.
6. Connect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector and engage each clamp to the front pillar RH.
7. Connect the No. 1 roof wire connectors to the instrument panel junction block.
8. Engage each clamp to the front pillar LH.

  NOTE: After installation, make sure that the back door weatherstrip does not interfere with the roof headlining assembly.
9. w/ EC Mirror:
  1. Connect the inner mirror connector.
INSTALL VISOR HOLDER
1. Engage the 2 claws.
2. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.
  HINT:
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY
1. Assemble the rear assist grip assembly as shown in the illustration.

2. Install the rear assist grip assembly.

1. Align the recess of the sun roof opening trim moulding with the notch of the roof headlining and install the sun roof opening trim moulding.

1. Engage the 5 claws and 3 clips, and install the side deck trim panel assembly LH.

INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH
1. Engage the 4 claws and 2 guides, and install the rear combination light service cover LH.

INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)
1. for front side:
  1. Install the luggage hold belt striker assembly with the bolt.
  Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)

2. for rear side:
