Air Conditioning (Except Hybrid): Condenser: Removal
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 1AR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 2GR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 1AR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 2GR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1AR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT DISCHARGE TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge tube sub-assembly from the condenser.
- Remove the O-ring from the discharge tube sub-assembly.NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
- DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the condenser.
- Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
- REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.
