CVTF Cooler Pipe No. 2

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Always use specified ATF. ATF other than specified ATF will cause malfunction.
  1. Install the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2 to the vehicle.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install a new CVTF cooler (air cool) inlet hose and a new CVTF cooler (air cool) outlet hose.
  3. Set the radiator upper frame together with the A/C accumulator assembly, and install the upper side bolts securing the radiator upper frame.
    NOTE: Securely install the radiator upper cushion to the radiator upper frame.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  4. Connect the hose - pressure suction COMPL to the pipe - return assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>RETURN HOSE .
  5. Connect the hose - pressure suction to the A/C accumulator assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>LOW-PRESSURE HOSE .
  6. Connect the connector to the horn and install the clip.

  7. Install the front hood lock assembly. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FRONT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the bracket - bumper UPR.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  9. Install the bumper face - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>INSTALLATION .
  10. Install the engine wiring harness to the bracket.
  11. Install the engine wiring harness to the clip (C), and connect the connector (B) to the main fuse box.
  12. Connect connector (A) to ECM.
    CAUTION: To prevent damage to the connector (A), when connecting the connector (A), insert the connector (A) straight in until it stops, and while maintaining the position, lock the lever.
    NOTE: When connecting the connector (A), check that the lever is located at the position shown in the figure (position beyond the lock portion (a)).

  13. Connect the hose - pressure suction valve (A) to the hose - pressure suction COMPL. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>LOW PRESSURE VALVE HOSE .
  14. Connected the lock assembly - front hood connector (B).
  15. Install the lower side bolts (C) securing the radiator upper frame.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  16. Install a new CVTF CVT inlet hose and a new CVTF CVT outlet hose.
  17. Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
  18. Install the inverter tank. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>INVERTER TANK>INSTALLATION .
  19. Install the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>BATTERY>INSTALLATION .
  20. Charge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT CHARGING PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  21. Fill engine coolant. (Inverter side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT>INVERTER ASSEMBLY SIDE .
  22. Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
  23. Adjust the ATF level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID>REPLACEMENT .
