Low-Pressure Hose

  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the hose - pressure discharge.
    1. Remove the bolts and remove the hose - pressure discharge.
      CAUTION: Use a plug or vinyl tape to seal the engaging parts of the disconnected hose and electric compressor assembly to prevent foreign matter from entering.

  5. Remove the hose - pressure suction.
    1. Remove the bolts and remove the hose - pressure suction.
      CAUTION:
      • Do not apply excessive force to the hose.
      • Use a plug or vinyl tape to seal the engaging parts of the disconnected hose and electric compressor assembly to prevent foreign matter from entering.
