Engine Mechanical (H6DO): Camshaft: Removal
NOTE:
Perform the work with the engine installed to body when replacing a single part. Refer to "Valve Clearance" for preparation. <Ref. to

- Remove the V-belts. <Ref. to REMOVAL , V-belt .>
- Remove the crank pulley. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Crank Pulley .>
- Remove the front chain cover. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Chain Cover .>
- Remove the timing chain assembly. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Timing Chain Assembly .>
- Remove the cam sprocket. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Cam Sprocket .>
- Remove the crank sprocket. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Crank Sprocket .>
- Remove the rear chain cover. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Chain Cover .>
- Disconnect the oil pipe.
- Remove the rocker cover (LH).
- Remove the plugs (LH).
- Loosen the camshaft cap bolts equally, a little at a time in alphabetical sequence shown in the figure.
- Remove the camshaft caps and camshaft (LH).NOTE: Arrange camshaft caps in order so that they can be installed in their original positions.
- Similarly, remove the camshafts (RH) and related parts.
