The additional battery terminal 30 fuse protects the connection between the front SAM control unit and the ECO start/stop function additional battery relay with 7.5 A.

The additional battery protection is in the high-voltage line at the suspension strut tower. The fuse rating is 175 A. The additional battery protection protects the connection between the front prefuse box and the electronic relay.
