Install new radial sealing ring at drive pinion gear (with differential installed) - AR35.31-P-0530CWC

3 Measure friction torque on drive pinion and note   AR35.31-P-0530-04CWC

4 Detach joint flange (41).   AR35.31-P-0550-06CWC

5 Pry radial shaft sealing ring (42) using suitable tool out of rear axle differential (50) NOTES
Do not damage seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (42).
Leaks can otherwise occur.		  
INSTALLING Install     
6 Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring (42) in rear axle differential (50) using clean, lint-free rag and assembly cleaner NOTES
The seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (42) in the rear axle differential (50) must be free of oil and dirt.
Leaks can otherwise occur.
NOTES
Assembly cleaner must not enter the rear axle differential (50).
Otherwise, the rear axle differential (50) may be damaged.		  
Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
7 Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (42) in rear axle differential (50) for damage If damage is present:

Repair or replace rear axle differential (50).

8 Apply universal hypoid gear oil to sealing lip of new radial shaft sealing ring (42)    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)   Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7). MB 235.7/235.74 FE hypoid gear oil A 001 989 33 03/Mobilube FE/FE Plus 75W-85
9 Press new radial shaft sealing ring (42) using drift into rear axle differential (50) SPECIAL TOOL Drift Fig 4
10 Adjusting friction torque of drive pinion bearing   AR35.31-P-0550-17CWC 
NOTES
All the operation steps and instructions listed in the linked description must always be conducted!
Otherwise, the rear axle differential (50) may suffer noise development and damage.
