4	Unclip coolant hose (4) from bracket (5)
5	Remove guide tube of oil dipstick		AR18.40-P-3510EW
6	Detach hydraulic line (8) from generator (G2) and refrigerant compressor (A9)		*BA46.30-P-1006-01T

7	Remove engine mount bolts (3) from front axle carrier		AR22.10-P-1260EWS
8	Attach engine hoist and raise engine		AR33.10-P-0105EW
9	Remove catalytic converters bracket (2) to transmission		*BA49.10-P-1023-01AE

10	Release and detach electrical connector for left oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3x1) and electrical connector for left oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5x1) and expose electrical feed lines
11	Disconnect electrical connector (7)
12	Detach oil cooling lines (6) of transmission from oil pan (10)	Transmission 722.9	AR27.55-P-0600EV
13	Detach bracket (9)	Fasten bracket (9) and electrical feed lines at side.
14	Remove oil pan bottom section (11)		AR01.45-P-7555EW
15	Remove screw/bolts from oil pan (10)	Observe different bolt lengths and diameters: ↓

16	Detach oil pan (10) from cylinder crankcase and remove to rear	When detaching it, do not insert any tools between the cylinder crankcase and oil pan (10), otherwise the sealing surfaces may be damaged! If necessary, heat oil pan (10) in area of sealing surfaces using hot air gun. Apply sealant to sealing surface for oil pan (10): ↓

	Clean
17	Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan (10) and crankcase	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

18	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 19	Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leaks
