Installing Wire Harness For Tailgate At The Right

Guide wire harness -2- forward through the cut-outs in the roof -arrow- .

Clip connector for connection point into the bracket -L- .

Plug in electric plug connections for the connection point -G, H- until the connectors engage securely.

Pull wire harness -2- through the tailgate -D- and insert rubber sleeves -9- .

Secure wire harness -2- to bracket -8- with adhesive tape.
Secure wire harness -2- to bracket -7- with adhesive tape -C- .

Clip in fixing clips -6- for wire harness for tailgate at the right.

Plug in electric plug connections for the antenna amplifier. → INSTALLING ANTENNA AMPLIFIER - section on "Installing"
Plug in electric plug connection for the rear lid buzzer. → INSTALLING REAR LID BUZZER - section on "Installing"
Plug in electric plug connection for upper part of lid lock. → INSTALLING UPPER PART OF REAR LID LOCK - section on "Installing"
Plug in electric plug connection for rear window heating.
Plug in electric plug connections for the rear lid control unit. → INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR REAR LID - section on "Installing"
Plug in electric plug connection for actuating cylinders for the rear lid. → INSTALLING ACTUATING CYLINDER FOR REAR LID - section on "Installing"
Pull wire harness -2- outwards -B- and press rubber sleeve -5- outwards from the inside.

Pull wire harness -2- outwards -A- and press rubber sleeve -4- outwards from the inside -A- .

Connect ground line to the rear lid -2- and tighten fastening screw -3- . Tightening Torque 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lb.)
