Installing Control Unit For Rear Lid

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche.
The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed.
Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts.

Insert control unit for rear lid with the lower edge into the opening in the holder -A- and swivel it in -B- until the two clips -1- engage securely.

Fit electric plug connection -3- on control unit for rear lid and turn release element -4- 90° clockwise until it engages securely.

Plug in electric plug connections -1 and 2- on control unit for rear lid until they engage securely.
