Loosening Main Wire Harness In Engine Compartment At The Right

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche  .
• The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed  .
• Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts  .

  1. Electric Plug Connection For Pressure Sensor
  2. Electric Plug Connection For Air Quality Sensor
  3. Electric plug connection for sensor for body
  4. Electric Plug Connection For Coolant Reservoir

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on pressure sensor -1-  . → REMOVING PRESSURE SWITCH - section on "Removing"
2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on air quality sensor -2-  . → REMOVING AIR QUALITY SENSOR - section on "Removing"
3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on sensor for body -3-  . → REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LEFT BODY ACCELERATION SENSOR - section on "Removing"
4. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for spring strut -7-  on the wheel housing.
5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for hydraulic unit -9-  . → REMOVING HYDRAULIC UNIT - section on "Removing"
6. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for level sensor -10-  . → REMOVING FRONT LEVEL SENSOR - section on "Removing"
7. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for ABS wire harness -11-  .
8. Screw off fastening nut on ground point -12-  under the hydraulic unit.
9. Screw off fastening nut on ground point -14-  under the headlight mounting.
10. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for front wire harness at the lock carrier -16-  . → 971619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WIRE HARNESS  - section on "Removing"
11. Release and disconnect three electric plug connections for connection point for front wire harness in the front apron -17-  . → 971519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WIRE HARNESS  - section on "Removing"

12. Loosen fastening points for wiring for level sensor -1-  .
13. Loosen fastening points for main wire harness -2-  in the engine compartment.
14. Loosen fastening point for electric wire harness for windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  and pull it through from the wheel housing to the engine compartment.
15. Pull rubber sleeve in cross panel -4-  out of the body.
16. Loosen fastening points for main wire harness -5-  in the plenum panel.
