Mode Door Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation . Remove the auxiliary blower motor assembly from the HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary Blower Motor Replacement . Remove the blower motor assembly from the HVAC module. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement . Remove the left hand floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side . Remove the heater core. Refer to Heater Core Replacement . NOTE: Leave the recirculation actuator attached to the air inlet housing assembly. Remove the air inlet housing assembly. Refer to Air Inlet Assembly Replacement . Remove the thermal expansion valve from the evaporator core. Refer to Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement . Remove the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement . Remove the auxiliary blower motor resistor. Refer to Auxiliary Blower Motor Resistor Replacement .
1	Blower Case Clip (Qty: 2)
2	Air Distributor Case Screw (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 1.5 N.m (14 lb in)
3	Heater and Air Conditioning Case Assembly
4	Air Distributor Case Assembly
5	Air Distributor Case Assembly Screw (Qty: 8) Tighten 1.5 N.m (14 lb in)
6	Air Distributor Case - Left
7	Air Distributor Case - Right
8	Air Distributor Case - Center
9	Mode Valve Assembly
