REP-TAT-P-2430-02 Install the switching device (8-speed, AISIN GA8F22AW) (Cooper Clubman S and JCW)

• Additionally, exchange the wiring harness (1) for vehicles up to 03/2019.

• Replace the seals (1).

• Position the switching device (1).
• Replace screws (2).

  Parts:  Screws

• Tighten the screws (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Switching device on transmission
  M6x21 Replace screws.
  	Torque  10Nm

• Plug the temperature sensor (1) into the switching device.
• Position the hold-down device and tighten the bolt (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

  M8x18
  	Torque  18Nm

• Connect all connectors (1).
• Fasten the connector (2) to the holder.

Follow-up work 

• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER (OIL PAN) FOR THE SWITCHING DEVICE (GA8G45 / F22AW) 
• Fasten the transmission oil cooler on the transmission. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER (GA8G45 / F22AW) (EXCEPT COOPER CLUBMAN JCW)  or REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER (GA8G45 / F22AW) (COOPER CLUBMAN JCW) .
