Removing and installing/replacing underbody protection (front)

NOTE: Picture for example purposes. There may be differences in detail in the case of other models.

Removal:

If installed:

Loosen screws (1).

Remove cross-member (2).

Remove screws (arrows).

Pull out and remove the underbody protection (1) under the bumper cover (2).

Installation:

Feed in and position the underbody protection (1) under the bumper cover (2).

Tighten the screws (arrows).

Tightening torque 51 71 5AZ .

If installed:

Position the cross-member (2).

Replace screws (1).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 31 11 8AZ .
