| 2 | Remove water-cooled right charge air cooler. | AR09.41-P-6828SVZ | |
| 3 | Remove right charge air pipe downstream of right exhaust gas turbocharger. | AR09.41-P-1333SVZ | |
| 4 | Remove ignition coils of right cylinder bank. | AR15.12-P-2009SVZ | |
| 5 | Remove the transmission with torque converter. | Engine 279 in model 223 with transmission 725.0 | AR27.10-P-0500SVZ |
| 6 | Remove crankshaft Hall sensor and tie electric line to the side. | AR15.12-P-2136SVZ | |
| 7 | Open clamp and remove coolant hose (3) from coolant line (2). | Fig 2 | |

| 9 | Remove screws (6, 7, 8). | ||
| 10 | Expose heat shield (9) and guide out. | ||
| 11 | Remove the screw (10). | ||
| 12 | Unscrew screws (11) and guide out coolant line (2). | *BA20.10-P-1009-01H | |
| 13 | Remove screw (12) and pull oil feed line of right exhaust gas turbocharger (13) out of exhaust gas turbocharger. | Only pull out oil feed line of right exhaust gas turbocharger (13) to extent that coolant feed line (1) can be removed. Oil feed line of right exhaust gas turbocharger (13) will otherwise be damaged. |
