	Check
1	Check gap dimensions at front door (3).		AR60.00-P-0900-01S
		Always perform adjustment work on uneven gap dimensions on upper and lower hinge leaves. Otherwise tension and damage can occur.

	Remove
2.1	Expose nuts (1, 2) of hinges.	When adjusting driver's door.

2.2	Expose nuts (1, 2) of hinges.	When adjusting front passenger door.

3	Remove door holder (7) from A-pillar.	Move door holder (7) to zero position. The paint will be damaged otherwise.
	Adjust
4	Mark position of lock striker (4) relative to B-pillar.
5	Unscrew screws (5) and remove lock striker (4).
6	Release nuts (1) and nuts (2) at A-pillar alternately.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on A-pillar. During adjustment, ensure that only nuts (1) or nuts (2) are loosened. If front door (3) comes into contact with other component parts, the paint may otherwise be damaged.
7	Adjust corresponding gap dimensions by moving front door (3).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on A-pillar.

		Carefully move front door (3). If front door (3) comes into contact with other component parts, the paint may otherwise be damaged.

8	Tighten nuts (1) and nuts (2) at A-pillar.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on A-pillar.
		Nut, hinge to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1001-01BA
9	Release screws (6) on front door (3) alternately.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on front door (3). During adjustment work, ensure that only one of the screws (6) is loosened. If front door (3) comes into contact with other component parts, the paint may otherwise be damaged.
10	By moving front door (3), adjust transition of front door to rear door (3) and door position in a vertical direction.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on front door (3). Contour of front door (3) must align with contour of rear door or may protrude by a maximum of 1 mm.
11	Tighten screws (6) on front door (3).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on front door (3).

12	Position lock striker (4) on B-pillar and position	It should still be possible to adjust the lock striker (4).
13	Align lock striker (4) by carefully closing front door (3).	Contour of front door (3) must align with contour of B-pillar or may protrude by a maximum of 1 mm.
14	Tighten screws (5) of lock striker (4) at B-pillar.	Screw, lock striker to B-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1013-01BA
	Install
15	Repair paint damage on screw heads of screws (6).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on front door (3).
16	Protect front door (3) or B-pillar against corrosion in area of the two hinges.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
17	Attach door holder (7) to A-pillar.	Bolt, door holder at A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1004-01BA
18.1	Assemble area around nuts (1, 2) for hinges.	When adjusting driver's door.
