Remove/Install Upper Hinge Of Front Passenger Door - AR72.10-P-0005S

	Remove
1	Remove front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500S
2	Remove electronic ignition lock control unit.		AR80.57-P-0003S
3	Unscrew nuts (1) and remove holder (2).
4	Press damping to side until nuts (3) are accessible.
5	Remove nuts (3), release A-pillar hinge leaf (5) and remove.	Mark position of A-pillar hinge leaf (5).

6	Remove seal under A-pillar hinge leaf (5).
7	Clean A-pillar (4) in area of hinge support.	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
8	Unscrew screw (6) and remove front passenger door hinge leaf (7).	Mark position of front passenger door hinge leaf (7).
	Install
9	Align front passenger door hinge leaf (7) with front passenger door using the markings applied previously and screw in screw (6).	Model 223 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
		Screw, hinge to front door	*BA72.10-P-1002-01BA
10	Align A-pillar hinge leaf (5) with seal on A-pillar (4) using the markings applied previously and attach nuts (3).	Helper required for exact positioning and holding of A-pillar hinge leaf (5).
		Model 223 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Nut, hinge to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1001-01BA
11	Position damping above nuts (3).
12	Position holder (2) and install nuts (1).
13	Install electronic ignition lock control unit.		AR80.57-P-0003S
14	Install front passenger door.		AR72.10-P-0500S
15	Open and close front passenger door.	The installation position of the passenger door may change later due to opening and closing.
	Check
16	Check gap dimensions at front passenger door, adjust if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550S
	Install
17	Repair paint damage at respective screw heads.
18	Protect front passenger door and A-pillar (4) against corrosion in area of hinge.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
