	Remove
1	Remove headliner.		AR68.30-P-4300S
		Model 223 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
2	Remove sliding roof panel from panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0007S
3	Remove drip rails.	Model 223 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)
		Model 223.0/1 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)	AR88.80-P-4000S
4	Remove rear roller sunblind of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0203S
5	Remove bolts (4).
6	Remove rear seal (2).
7	Mask off seal (3) in area of rear fixed element (1) with fabric tape.	Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A
8	Measure rear gap dimension (A) of the rear fixed element (1) and note down.	Feeler gauge	Fig 1
9	Mask off adjacent paint surfaces with fabric tape.	Adhesive fabric tape	*BR00.45-Z-1062-02A
10	Cover vehicle interior with suitable means.
	Risk of injury due to snapping or warming up of cutting wire and due to splinters when cutting out glued panoramic roofs	Wear cut-proof gloves and safety glasses.	AS77.21-Z-0002-01A
11	Cut out and remove rear fixed element (1) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0802-01S
		Aid of helper required.

	Install
12	Prepare rear fixed element (1) of panoramic sliding sunroof for installation.		AR77.21-P-0802-02S
		Before starting work, all component parts, materials, and tools must be prepared for the installation of the rear fixed element (1). Otherwise it may not be possible to maintain permissible processing and joining times.
		Aid of helper required.
13	Prepare body flange for rear fixed element (1) of panoramic sliding sunroof for installation.		AR77.21-P-0802-03S
14	Apply adhesive to rear fixed element (1) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0802-04S

15	Install rear fixed element (1) of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0802-05S
		Do not move vehicle for at least 10 h after gluing in the rear fixed element (1). The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.
		Two helpers are required.

16	Remove weights for loading rear fixed element (1).	Do not remove weights before reference adhesive bead is completely cured. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.
17	Install rear roller sunblind of panoramic sliding sunroof.		AR77.21-P-0203S
18	Position rear seal (2) in installation position and press on.	Observe alignment.

22	Remove masking tape residues.
	Finishing activity
23	Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.
