	Remove/install
1	Remove 230 V socket (20) in side wall trim (7).		AR54.10-S-0123E
2	Remove load compartment shelf.	Model 447.8 with code YG4 (Comfort load compartment shelf)	AR68.80-S-5805E
3	Remove passenger bench seat in 2nd row.	Model 447.7; model 447.8 with code US3 (3-passenger bench seat as comfort bunk, 2nd rear seat row) Model 447.7	AR91.21-S-4420E
4	Remove passenger seats.	Model 447.7 with code US9 (individual seat 2nd rear row, right); model 447.8 with code US9 (individual seat 2nd rear row, right) Model 447.8 with code US9 (Individual seat, 2nd rear row. right)	AR91.21-S-4460E
5	Remove C-pillar trim (1).	Model 447.7 with code E3V (External connection 230 V) with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) with code ZH6 (Marco Polo ACTIVITY) Model 447.8 with code E3V (External connection 230 V) with code Z93 (Marco Polo HORIZON)	AR68.30-S-4490E
6	Remove D-pillar trim (2).		AR68.30-S-4495E
7	Unclip cover (16) on the side wall trim (7).
8	Remove screw (3) and remove holder (4).
9	Mark installation position of the guide (9).
10	Remove screws (8) and remove guide (9).	: Note marking of the installation position of the guide (9). Bolt, guide to body	*BA72.20-Z-1008-03KOJ
11	Unclip cover (12), remove screws (5), and take off holder (6).	Model 447.7 with code US3 (3-passenger bench seat as comfort bunk, 2nd rear seat row); model 447.7 with code YG4 (Comfort load compartment shelf); model 447.8
12	Remove retaining clip (13).
13	Loosen the sealing frame near the side wall trim (7).
14	Loosen side wall trim (7) near the retaining clips (14, 15).	: Check retaining clips (14, 15) for damage. If damage is detected: ↓ Replace corresponding retaining clips (14, 15).
15	As shown, insert a long wedge (10) near the arrows between the side wall trim (7) and the window frame and unclip the retaining clips (11).	Loosen the side wall trim (7) carefully. Otherwise, the side wall trim (7) and the retaining clips (11) may be damaged. : Check retaining clips (11). Ensure that retaining clips (11) are seated correctly on the window frame rabbet.
		Long wedge If the retaining clips (11) are damaged: ↓ Replace corresponding retaining clips (11).	Fig 1
16	Remove side wall trim (7) until electrical connectors on the rear are accessible.
17	Disconnect electrical connector from right rear side wall tweeter (H4/44).	Model 447.7 with code EL9 (2-way speaker system, front and rear), model 447.8
18	Disconnect electrical connector from right 1st seat row socket (X58/35).
19	Disconnect electrical connector from right rear load compartment socket (X58/12).
20	Disconnect electrical connector from right C-pillar footwell lamp (E17/22).
21	Disconnect electrical connector from right hinged window switch (S21/16).
22	Disconnect electrical connector (18) for USB port (19).
23	Remove side wall trim (7).
24	Remove detachable parts of the side wall trim (7).	If side wall trim (7) is replaced.
25	Transfer cutout dimensions from the old side wall trim (7) onto the new part and prepare cutouts using a suitable tool.	If side wall trim (7) is replaced.
26	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
27	Perform function check of all component parts in the side wall trim (7).
