3	Remove passenger bench seat on 1st or 2nd or 3rd row. 8	Remove bolt (3) and remove holder (4).
9	Mark installation position of guide (6).	Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) with code W65 (Tailgate) Model 447.8 except code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO POLO) Model 448.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) Model 448.8
10	Unscrew bolts (5) and remove guide (6).	Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) with code W65 (Tailgate) Model 447.8 except code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO POLO) Model 448.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) Model 448.8 : Observe markings for installation position of guide (6). 11	Unclip and remove cover (12).	Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) with code ZH6 (Marco Polo ACTIVITY) Model 447.8 with code V9B (FUN 2 package: Sleeper) except code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO POLO) : Ensure that cover (12) is seated properly.
12	Unscrew bolts (13) and remove holder (14).	Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, premium version) with code ZH6 (Marco Polo ACTIVITY) Model 447.8 with code V9B (FUN 2 package: Sleeper) except code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO POLO)
13	Remove retaining clip (8).
14	Release side trim (7) in area of retaining clips (9, 9.1).	: Check retaining clips (9, 9.1) and remove foam padding from retaining clip (9.1). If retaining clips (9, 9.1) are damaged: ↓ Replace corresponding retaining clips (9, 9.1).
15	Insert long wedge (10) between side trim (7) and window frame as shown (arrows) and unclip retaining clamps (11).	Carefully detach side paneling (7). Otherwise, side paneling (7) and retaining clips (11) may be damaged. : Check retaining clips (11). Ensure that retaining clips (11) are seated correctly on window frame rabbet. Long wedge	Fig 1
		If retaining clips (11) are damaged: ↓ Replace corresponding retaining clips (11).
16	Remove side trim (7) until electrical connectors on rear side are accessible.
17	Release and disconnect electrical connectors on rear side.	The number of electrical connectors varies depending on equipment installed.
18	Remove side trim (7).
19	Reconfigure detachable parts of side trim (7).	When replacing side paneling (7).
20	Check for presence of bore for mount of 12 V socket on new side trim (7).	Model 447.7 with code ES2 (12 V socket for trunk/load compartment); model 447.8 with code ES2 (12 V socket for trunk/load compartment); model 448.7 with code ES2 (12 V socket for trunk/load compartment); model 448.8 with code ES2 (12 V socket for trunk/load compartment) When right side trim (7) is being replaced. if no bore is present, ↓ drill hole in side trim (7). 21	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
22	Perform function check on all electrical component parts in repair area.
