1	Shift automatic transmission (3) to neutral position.
2	Release parking brake.

4	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.	: Only release vehicle after leak test.	AR00.60-P-0100-01A

7	Remove propeller shaft (8) and secure against falling down.		AR41.10-P-0050MNI
8	Remove coolant lines (6) from transfer case (1).	: Replace seals.	AR28.55-P-1200MNI
9	Release and disconnect electrical connector from all-wheel drive control unit (N45).
10	Release and disconnect electrical connector from transmission oil temperature sensor (B91).
11	Lower automatic transmission (3) until all screws (2) around circumference of transfer case (1) are accessible.

12	Support transfer case (1).

13	Unscrew screws (2) and remove transfer case (1).	The aid of a second person is required for disconnection and connection at the flange of the
		front axle propeller shaft (5). : Moisten plug-in toothing on automatic transmission (3) with new grease. Long-life grease	*BR00.45-Z-1001-06A
		Screw/bolt, transfer case to automatic transmission	*BA28.10-P-1001-01G
14	Remove transmission oil temperature sensor (B91).	When replacing transfer case (1).	AR28.19-P-1007MNI
15	Check intermediate panel (9) for damage.	If problems occur: ↓ Replace intermediate panel (9).
16	Install in the reverse order.
