| 5 | Install aligners (5). | It must be possible for the aligners (5) to be placed without further pressure and then installed. The aligners (5) are not suitable for bringing the camshafts into position. Otherwise damage can occur to the aligners (5) and can also result in incorrect timing. |

| 10 | Raise secondary chain drive timing chain and remove camshaft positioners (7) from camshafts. | ||

| 11 | Raise secondary chain drive timing chain and attach new camshaft positioner (7) on the camshaft. | ||
| 12 | Lubricate the thread and the bolt head contact surface of the new control valves. Authorized engine oils (service) | ||

| 23 | Install aligners (5). | It must be possible for the aligners (5) to be placed without further pressure and then installed. The aligners (5) are not suitable to bring the exhaust camshaft or intake camshaft into position. This leads to the aligners (5) becoming damaged and also results in incorrect timing. |
